Then I guess your gonna have to either slipstream the drivers or get a floppy drive.

Is there an easy way to Slipstream? I mean considering it is a cracked version..? The current DVD I have the OS installed on is taking up 4.69 GB's...

In order to get Vista installed from an update...you need XP installed first right? But if XP doesn't work now already, how do you expect Vista to work?

No, I've tried it a few times.. it's all the same exact thing. The file I got, was in 7-zip, when you unzip it, it gives you a folder with an ISO folder in it, which brings up nero, then burns... so theres nothing really to mess around with in it..

I hate to say it: There might be something wrong with your copy of XP.....I messed around with it a little while ago.....with a LEGAL copy (MINE!) of XP Pro...trying to use nLite(?) to make XP even leaner/faster than it is already....and that version that came out was horrible! It did work for 5 minutes while installing and then caused nothing but BSOD!

But the only problem I'm facing is my version needs drivers, and I don't know what driver it needs...... I can't seem to get into the F6 feature using a wireless or wired controller to see if maybe the drivers I need are on my Mobo disc..

Make sure you download the latest drivers from the Abit site. Once again...you do NOT need the F6 drivers since you're not installing RAID! All other items in your rig should be able to run on the standard XP drivers....so you can update those later. If you still want to use the F6 drivers...maybe you can take the floppy drive from the computer you're writing these posts on. Connect it to your new rig...and see what happens!

Maybe you should check out the Abit Forums to see if there's ppl with similar issues.

Well, I'm on a MacBook Pro right now.. lol so thats out of the question.. But a question I have for you is.. How do I make sure I have the latest Abit drivers.. I mean, if I can't even load windows.. where am I saving these files to? How am I to implement them on the XP install?

Also, on the Abit site, I do see a driver called the JMicron Sata Driver.. but I have no way to integrate that into the XP install dvd.
