Alright, I installed the 8.9 drivers. Both cards are still running well, and the same level of overclocking is possible (unlike 8.8 which crashed at even a 5MHz OC).

I see they still have the problem of crashing when you use the framebuffer for console on linux. :(

ODD, my HD 4870X2 runs 20deg hotter with 8.9 vs the beta's that came with my card.

I was just wondering if its okay to install 8.9 over 8.7... My CoD4 keeps on crashing, and it says that the video driver is crashing, so installing new drivers might fix the problem.. right?
