Oh nice, there is some decent improvements there for sure. I quite like the monthly drivers as it means they will hopefully get on top of any issues with the newly released games a bit faster.

Well they installed so that's a start...

I got this weird black screen with kinda like vertical bars when I enabled overdrive and set it to 650/1050 with my 2nd monitor as extended. Though it did come back a few seconds later. It was worse with the 8.8s as I couldn't get my desktop back at all so I guess these 8.9s are an improvement but I don't have that issue with the 8.7s.

Now time to try some games I suppose rather than worrying about my school work

[UPDATE] Well it hard locked before I got to any gaming. Guess overdrive + dual monitors in extended mode still doesn't work right. Seems ok with a single monitor though.

I installed last night, seems to be working ok, I ran 3dm 06 and vantage. Didnt really see any improvement over 8.8 in scores though.

Could you test dual monitors in extended mode and then OC by any chance? I want to know if its just something up with my config...
