Hmm as far as I know the Samsung 305T has a Samsung S-PVA panel. The Dell 3007WFP uses an an S-IPS LG panel. For gaming you're probably better off with the Samsung as it'll be a lower response time, howver the Dell will have superior colour reproduction. I game on my Dell 2007WFP S-IPS panel with a 16ms response time. The 3007 has 14ms I believe. I don't ever get ghosting but I do get screen tearing on very high settings on some games. I would use vsync if I'm lazy to take care of it or triple buffering if I want to get fancy... either works.

From experience, the Gateway XHD3000H is THE BEST 30" on the market...bar none. My buddy bought one from NCIX and let me tell you, it is stunning and has more features than you could ever want. Canadian Prices: Gateway - Gateway 30" Widescreen HD LCD Monitor (XHD3000H) - XHD3000H Looks like Compu2000 (another NCIX company) has it will free shipping!!!!! |

Read that thread. When you run at the native resolution you get no input lag. Or simply, don't use the built in scalar. You need to twiddle with the advanced timings in your vid card to get rid of the blackout issue, improper timing pulses.

Why would someone buy this monitor and not use native resolution? I mean I understand what the Scaler is used for running something like an Xbox 360 or PS3 but buying a monitor like this, running it at non-native resolution and then complaining there is input lag is just...well....what I want to say isn't fit for the forums.
