LOL, I think I've already set my mind on the 4850's in CF.... Now with RivaTuner 4.10 out, and the ability to adjust the fanspeed without playing with xml files, I'm siding with ATI for the first time in my life....

Yes, a Nvidia fanboy of going to the Red side lol

Now, What HDMI cable do you use?, do you think there would/could be issues with the hdmi adaptor?

buy cables from HDMI Cable, Home Theater Accessories, HDMI Products, Cables, Adapters, Video/Audio Switch, Networking, USB, Firewire, Printer Toner, and more! . Great prices, cheap and fast shipping. I am using 22 gauge (their largest i think) HDMI cables, however I am also using HD audio over the hdmi cables. You won't need that size for just the display.

I sit two feet a way from my Samsung 720p its awesome to read and movies are great but like these guys say and i would have also loved to have had 1080p cause then most games have that resolution only new games have support for 720p i hope Red Alert3 does. The new Samsungs also support 1080p but their more expensive get the Sharp you be more then pleased and if you want cable trust go to ebay and get the Belkin PURE-AV line its a HDMI-DVI unless you have dvi on your videocard their awesome cables good quality and cheap i picked up mine for 16 bucks i believe or less because it was 15 feet lol i didnt really mind it as i just round it in circles so no one can see and besides can never have too much cable. Ohh and it comes with lifetime warranty which i had to use for my dvi-dvi.
BELKIN 16FT. PURE AV HDMI / DVI VIDEO CABLE - (eBay.ca item 170257321440 end time 07-Sep-08 18:35:49 EDT)

the above link is of ebay i got that but it was brand new and shipping was less its a thick cable soo cant say enough aboot it never get the overpriced monster crap they sell yea at the store.

The best is to visit a few stores and compare ...

I was going to get a Sharp but after seeing them both side by side, the Samsung had the better picture.

This is subjective of course ...

Gotta remember when they're side by side, they're not always hooked up to the same thing / same type of cables / calibrated properly. I do love my D64LC46 Sharp Aquos though. I haven't done much gaming on it other then Guitar hero 3 PC.. Haven't gotten used to a mouse and keyboard on a coffee table yet.
