Default 24 inch gaming lcd

Heya, wondering what you think is the best 24 inch monitor purely for gaming purposes.
Also what do you think of the Samsung SyncMaster 2443BW, there seems to be no reviews of this monitor anywhere on the net, it's on special at ncix for 379$.
Thanks.

Not particularly impressed w/ the 22" version ... The 24" may be different, but I doubt it would be much, if any, better ...

IMO LCDs have a long way to go - most of the LCDs in this price range don't use the best panels and are biased towards blue - and the ratings are usually inflated or overrated - I'm honestly waiting for OLED, I can't stand LCD's input lag - some people are happy with gaming and some low end monitors - but if you want something really decent I recommend an $18,000 24' OLED ;)

BTW, that specific model of Samsung you are looking for, saw it on display, wasn't impressed with color or viewing angles - That monitor uses a TN panel.

Not that great of a price for that monitor... I wouldn't think of that to be special in any way, pricematch it and I'm sure you can get it down to around 150

Probably should have just posted in the thread below yours too... I recommended this one: BenQ V2400W 24IN Widescreen Black LCD Monitor 2MS 1920X1200 4000:1 Senseye HDMI DVI VGA

$400 with shipping included... so it will probably cost you the same as the Samsung Syncmaster

Best bet is to go to a shop and compared some you like side by side. I like this one personally.

NCIX.com - Buy BenQ G2400WD 24IN Widescreen Black LCD Monitor 2MS 1920X1200 4000:1 Senseye HDMI DVI VGA - G2400WD In Canada.
