Default Hd + Monitor Help
ALRIGHT! i just ordered a 22" monitor from Ncix

And, im gonna attach my PS3 to this baby, [well not really baby aha] and im just wonderin cuz it has no specs on HD. i know it cant do 1080i/p cuz its over the rez. but what about 720p? how will the HD 1280x720 [16:9] fit in the 1680x1050 [not 16:9]. will there be adjusting probs?? or will it work like a normal 4:3 tv with the black box things on the top/bottom?

When I play my 360 on my 22" it just stretches to fit. To tell you the truth it looks better on my crappier tv. On my monitor you can read things easier dur to the higher resolution, but since the resolutions don't match, the streching causes the image to look worse. It's like the anti-aliasing isn't working properly or something. The 360 doesn't do 1680x1050, I don't know about the PS3. If it did I'm sure it would look great but the stretching of the image just doesn't work for me.

wait, did u do 720p? and im gussing i t DIDNT keep its aspect ratio right? and if it didnt, can u adjust the horizontal and vertical stretch to keep its aspect ratio?
