Default ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q w/ G-SYNC Support Priced & Dated

Finally but I'm waiting for more info about the DisplayPort claim considering NVIDIA's scaler is DVI only.

Nice.144MMhz. Passive 3D would be nice too. Only 100 bucks more than the PB. Only the PB is limited to 60Hz.

I would rather a smaller res and better colour etc... hope to see a review here when launched. But good to see this finally starting to hit shelves in non-mod guise.

We'll have a review at some point. I'm pretty excited about this one!

I'd be more excited at a lower pricepoint. $800USD is just too much imo for a TN panel. You can get a TN panel on a single tile 4K monitor with 1ms refresh for $649 USD.

I'm not really interested in 4K or gsync, so I guess I'll have to wait a little longer for BenQ or AOC or even Asus to bring out a lower priced version without gsync but keep the higher refresh rate at 2560x1440.

It should be interesting to see how that turns out.

Actually, it is. And a 10 bit panel to boot. Unless they are just lying. Like that's never happened before. I do loath marketing people.

I also read that AOC will be bringing the same panel out at a slightly cheaper price....
