I really want to witness 4k content on a 4k display. I'm still impressed by my 1600x900 monitor. 4k must be incredible.

Just an FYI... these Dell 4K screens should come down to $2300-2500 on sale...
(based on my premier account pricing)

So the question remains, when are you or Slik getting yours? ;)

They already have a cheaper UP2414Q 24" IPS version and a 28" IPS version coming for a fair bit less money. I think the 24" was $1349.00 on their web site last time I checked.

My friend has the Asus version, which I believe is also a Sharp OEM'd model with the IGZO panel and I wasn't very impressed with it. I think the 28" should be a good combination of resolution and DPI/PPI when it comes out. The rumour is that it will be closer to the $1000.00 mark.

Wow, 28" 4k for a grand... that was way faster than I thought they would hit that price-point.

the 28" was confirmed for $700, but I'm assuming that's for Dell.us

any idea how much Dell would add to the dell.ca price?
