FYI for those that have multiple vg248qe with any of the latest nvidia drivers you cannot enable lightboost in surround unfortunately. Unless you feel like voiding your warranty and doing a hardware hack.

I'm kinda iffy about Asus monitors but I purchased 2 BenQ's for work and I was very impressed. I'm definitely waiting for a 27" BenQ gaming series monitor w/G-sync. Although I will s**** a brick if G-sync monitors will not be support new cards with say G-sync 2.0.

We'll I'm sure like physx nvida will prob incorporate Gsync on vid cards down line. And just update it through graphic card architectures.

I don't think they can incorporate it into the video card, it needs to directly change how the monitor operates.

Ahh something in the Keplar architecture makes Sence they said had to be 6xx to 7xx series to work. It'd be nice if Gsync wwould Work in nice Ips panels then wouldn't care about having 120-144 Hz monitors anymore. Now all they need to work on is ips panels with 2500-1600 res with Light Boost and G-sync and display port as only input.

4k monitor with light boost and g-sync and I can forgive them for not having an IPS. Still, an IPS with light boost and g-sync is mighty tempting at any resolution (I game in surround currently, so going to 1 monitor would suck if it wasn't high resolution)

I'll wait till they develop gaming surround monitors with no actual panels lol something that fits together like a jigsaw puzzle.
