That's definitely interesting

AFAIK HDMI can only do 4k @ 30Hz at the moment. They need to implement a better solution asap.

I've been able to play on a few 4Ks @ 30Hz, nothing in the sorts of gaming, but seems to have no issues doing HD media playback.

Yep only 30Hz, ASUS has been using HDMI in parallel for their demo displays to achieve 60Hz.

Besides the HDMI bandwith issue the question that needs to be asked is ; Are the TVs any good. For 4K under $1000, I would suspect the answer is 'no'. All the power to them if they make a great display, but I would think at that price we'd see some shitty contrasts levels, poor blacks, backlight bleed and other 'cheap' TV issues.

Dual link DVI?

I think DisplayPort 2.0 should be able to handle it on it's own, as I've been able to daisy chain three off them off of one connection and ran at about 90% bandwidth used.

Only HDMI on that TV :(

But this doesn't carry 5.1 audio yet.
