Depends how much money you wanna spend. Dell has the U3011 and soon to be U3014. That's in the 1200 to 1600$ range. Then there's the Korean monitors YAMAKASI-LEONIDAS which is way cheaper than any other 30 inch monitor on the market today. (700$). It's an LG ips panel.

Monoprice should have some decent IPS panels, but I haven't seen any reviews yet.

30" IPS, you get what you pay for, simple as that. The only 'deals' are the Korean rejected panels, and I'd rather have a warranty with free advanced 2-3 day RMA then deal with an ebay seller or a private brand out of the US. Ultrasharps have by far the best warranty support in the industry, the other mainstream vendors aren't even close.

I can't imagine what it'd cost to ship + insure a 700$ monitor to Korea...

Dont know if its still available but my dad had a gateway 30" 1600p monitor (forget the model.) he had it for i think 3 or 4 years and twice over 2 years some circuit board fried, cost $300 each time. He finally had enough and ditched it. Gorgeous monitor though, supposedly the circuit board kept overheating. Just warning you

^^I agree. Dell has the best warranty in the business. One screwed pixel, and they replace the monitor no questions asked. On occasion,if your model is not in stock they will upgrade. It happened to me.
