29EA93-P 29in Ultra Widescreen LED LCD w/ IPS Panel, Black

Has anyone tried the 29EA93-P 29in Ultra Widescreen LED LCD w/ IPS Panel, Black For my space the triple 27" screens no longer work but I have dual 27" screens right now awesome for work complete crap for gaming as we all know a line through the center ruins it all.

Saw this screen and thought hey problem solved I could just sell 2 of my screens throw some cash in and then I have the display I want but is the quality any good(honestly I hate LG, for LCD I go Dell,Asus and Samsung)

Maybe I just need to downsize to 3 24" screens or something:doh:

would the 3 27" monitors fit if they were in portrait mode, and would that work for a tri monitor setup? ;)

Tried that but my wife stole one of the 27" screens for a bedroom TV after my daughter broke out plasma that was meant to go there.

I honestly know there is no argument in hell that will get me that LCD back haha:whistle:

Dell has the "same" 29" ultra-widescreen too. I'm assuming it uses LG's IPS panel, but backed by Dell electronics and warranty. Dell UltraSharp U2913WM - LED monitor - 29-inch - with 3-Years Advanced Exchange Service and Premium Panel Guarantee : Computer Components | Dell Canada

I think you'll be the first on here to take the plunge though. I imagine people may follow if you give a good review

Remember guys, those 21.9, aspect ratio monitors have a very narrow viewing area.

I know. All I'm saying is,the width viewing area of the 29" is OK,but the height is only 10 inches. Compare that to a 16.10 29 or 30 inch, and you will see what I mean. I should clarify,I'm talking gaming here. Thanks.

I would say it's basically 2x19" monitors stuck together side-by-side. I think it would be sufficient for most day-to-day tasks, and movies/gaming should be more immersive as well.

I have 3x19" monitors at work which run 1280x1024 each, and it's more than fine for doing work on. This has a couple extra pixels at 1080.

Why would anyone want to pay for a 29 inch monitor, that is pretty much the same as the 19? Gaming at 1080 doesn't come close to 1920x1400,or 2560x1600 resolutions. In my opinion.
