My System Specs

Default ASUS PA248Q

Just wondering if anyone has this monitor and is using it for gaming. If so, what's the performance like? Any noticeable ghosting or lag? I know the ProArt series is known for having great out of the box color but i'd like to get some first hand feed back on gaming performance before i take the plunge. My old Acer tn is on it's last legs and I'm thinking I would like to give IPS a try. This monitor seems to fit what i'm looking for (size/price/resolution)

It's pretty good. I have one that I've used off-and-on (due to monitor ADHD not because of the screen's quality).

I'd say roughly equivalent to the Dell U2412M iMHO with low lag and better input capabilities.

The Asus has the "TraceFree" setting in the OSD, which allows you to select your level of overdrive to optimize RTC to your tastes. I think this is a solid monitor for the money, as it also comes with a factory calibration on an LED panel, so it won't have color drift over the years like CCFL.
