Upgrading to dual monitors!
Hey everyone. I've got a 3570k/660ti build and I'm running an Asus VE247H currently. I bought it on a whim and while it's a decent monitor, I maybe went too far under budget and didn't get something up to the task seeing as it's not 120hz. I'm ready to grab a second monitor now and am very open to suggestions. I definitely want to keep this under $400 and would be more than happy to come in under budget. I also want something that will match up to my 23.6" Asus quite well, if not perfectly if that's possible. Of course the new one will be my gaming monitor and the Asus reserved for secondary duties, aka web/pron.

If your wanting a 120Hz refresh rate then prices will be steep. Try looking into Acer GD235HZ bid. It is 23.6 inches, is 3D ready so you can hook up Nvidia 3D stereoscopic shutter. Has some decent review online too. If you are not looking into 120Hz there are good IPS panel monitors which has very good color reproduction. I myself have an Asus PA238QR which is at $200+ and is excellent for gaming at least for me because of the rich color reproduction.

660ti trying to drive a 120hz screen will be a little underpowered (trying to get 120fps)

Depends on what your trying to run.. but if your looking for new games, max settings at 120fps you may be better getting a better card first..
