Default Monitor Suggestions
Hey everyone,

Not that I have a real massive budget for one, but my ASUS 21.5 is getting old in the tooth (still works fine).
I'm probably going to get about $80 for it. And given Christmas time I can more than likely expect about 150 or so cash from family and friends. So lets say 230-250 budget.

What I would like, is something 1920 x 1200 for a little extra real estate. Any thoughts or suggestions on what would fit the bill?

It's slightly beyond your stated budget, but then again what PC quote ever comes in on budget......

This is a sale price, but Dell is pretty consistant with their sale pricing so if you don't have the money right now, it'll probably be on for the same price in the future.

That would probably work. Just gotta convince someone with a CC now :)

What about the U2312HM? Its a good 23" that should be doable w/ your budget and res requirements. Though I too like the U2412 a bit better. ;)

Indeed. well lets see what christmas and the sale of the old monitor I have nets me and then we might have a talk in Jan. if the Deal is still valid then. I am entertaining a few options ATM.
