Best Gaming Monitor for BF3?
Hi group,

What are the characteristics I should be looking for in a top gaming monitor to play BF3? i.e. settings, Hz, refresh rate, jacks, etc.?

Is there one or two monitors that are the standout bests available today or coming out in the near future? i.e. what is everyone recommending these days as the best gaming monitor for FPS like BF3?

I live in Canada, any links to the best deals for your recommendations would be appreciated too!

Oh and what is the recommended "best" settings these days for gaming? My monitor is out of date now with maximum 60hz 1920X1080p.

Thank you very much in advance for your kind input :thumb:

There is no monitor best for one certain game. If you can run BF3 at higher than 60FPS and don't mind worse colors and viewing angles, get a 120hz monitor from BenQ, Asus, or any other good brand. If you can't run BF3 faster than 60FPS get an IPS display.

yep, depends on what your system can comfortably throw out as far as frame rates, average frame rates etc.

120Hz are really nice monitors, but are pointless if you are getting less then say 110 frames on average. better to stick with the 60Hz at that point.
