Best monitor Tv (gaming - entertainment)

Hi Guys, I have a question about monitors!
I play with a gtx 560Ti twin frozr II from MSI on a resolution that’s 1440x900, so I want to change my monitor to a better one. I’d like to use a 24” (not 27” because I think that 1080p for it isn’t enough, am I right?)
My question is about which monitor I should chose: I would like to buy a monitor TV, of course I don’t need the maximum, but I good experience in gaming so I would like to find a good monitor that has got a quite good TV. I saw the LG m2452d that has got also the IPS panel with a good viewing angle. I found very few review and different opinions about its use for gaming. What would you recommend to me? Do you think that other monitors TV from for example Samsung would be better or even something else?

It really depends on your needs. How far away from the monitor / TV do you expect to game? If less than 6ft, you will certainly want a regular monitor. Anything beyond that, an HDTV starts becoming a possibility.

Yes I play at a normal distance from the monitor at less than 6ft

In that case, a monitor would be your best bet since at anything above 27", the 1080P resolution of an HDTV would result in an extreme loss of detail and image fidelity at that distance.

What is your budget?

I think 250/300 € max! Which monitor tv wuold you raccomend me?

Personally, I'd go with the Dell U2412M or ASUS PA248Q for that price.
