good medium price gaming LCD?
I want to buy a new LCD monitor, mostly for gaming and also some movie watching. I'm deciding if I want LED LCD (not much difference) or IPS for better colour, or maybe a 3d one for higher refresh rate... what do you guys think?

I don't have any first hand experience with a variety of monitors, but I'd definitely say go IPS. I currently have an LG IPS236 that performs perfectly for gaming. For a low end IPS panel, I haven't seen any ghosting. (The stand is pretty bad though...only downfall in my eyes) Sadly I can't really find it anywhere anymore. Hopefully someone else can chime in on suggestions.

I have had hands on experience with a TN, a VA and an IPS panel. So if you are low on budget I would say go for a VA panel. I currently use the Benq GW2250, the one with HDMI port, and my bro has IPS[Asus PA238q] cuz he has some video editing stuff going around.

Only go for a TN if you are going to do 3d gaming. For which any Nvidia 3d vision ready monitor would do the trick.
