Dell Ultrasharp U2713 27” AH-IPS Monitor Review COMMENT THREAD Dell's brand new U2713 is like a breath of fresh air in a stagnant monitor market. By leveraging AH-IPS panel technology it combines slim lines with outstanding picture quality and a relatively low price. Dell has even included factory calibrated settings which allow it to attain near-perfection without any tweaking. Sound too good to be true? Well, it isn't. Seems like it would be a lovely companion to my U2711  |
ugh, the price drop is nice, but that means its only competitive price-wise with a Samsung LS27A850DS :( It's nice to hear the AG problem is fixed though. Of course, I'm speaking from the perspective of a software developer that needs the monitor for its resolution and doesn't give the slightest care about color fidelity. I hope for the days of high-end 27" monitors in the $500 bracket (I don't consider the CatLeaps to be high-end). |
I love the cons Quote:

Does Game mode actually improve latency at all? Disabling any post processing the monitor might be doing? |
Nice :) I read it quickly, because I'm at work so sorry if I ask a stupid question, but when is it supposed to be available? Thanks, Nick |

I saw a review of this one on a different site when it was still just available over in the UK, and they also had great things to say about it. Depending on price I think this just might be my Christmas present for myself. |

I was really hoping for this one to be 120hz. Then it would have been nearly perfect, except the price of course which is still a little on the high side. |
