ugh, the price drop is nice, but that means its only competitive price-wise with a Samsung LS27A850DS :( It's nice to hear the AG problem is fixed though.

Of course, I'm speaking from the perspective of a software developer that needs the monitor for its resolution and doesn't give the slightest care about color fidelity.

I hope for the days of high-end 27" monitors in the $500 bracket (I don't consider the CatLeaps to be high-end).

Does Game mode actually improve latency at all? Disabling any post processing the monitor might be doing?

Good question. Game mode essentially disables much of the monitor's post-processing which means you will get a noticeable decrease in color accuracy due to over-saturation. HOWEVER, most of this overshooting can be compensated for using the control panel options available on most GPUs.

It is supposed to be posted on Dell's site within the next 72 hours.

I saw a review of this one on a different site when it was still just available over in the UK, and they also had great things to say about it. Depending on price I think this just might be my Christmas present for myself.

I was really hoping for this one to be 120hz. Then it would have been nearly perfect, except the price of course which is still a little on the high side.
