Default New Monitor?

I'm looking at spending around $250 on a new LCD monitor. I want a 22" or a 24" (if you can find a 24" for that price. I'm looking at this monitor Canada Computers - LCD Monitors > 22" LCD Monitors : LG L226WTY-BF 22" LCD Monitor 2ms, 1680 x 1050, 3000:1 CR, 300 cd/m2, D-Sub, DVI-D .
What's everyone else's opinion?

That's not a bad one at all. Good price for it's contrast/size etc

Here's a REALLY nice one with a much higher contrast ratio for slightly a bit more.

There are few threads in the forums regarding 22" and 24" LCDs which will probably be of interest to you. In essence, you can't completely rely on the specification #s that are advertised, and the best thing to do is to go into the store and pick out the one that suits your eyes. That way there are no surprises.
