Default Super tight budget monitor

So my buddy is building a rig and he needs a monitor for under $150... I really don't know much about display units at all and really my eyes aren't fantastic anyways so to me it isn't a huge deal but I don't want to suggest a crap monitor for him.

I picked up two for under $150 shipped one was a 21.5 inch hanns g, and the other was the same size, only hannspree brand name. Both going over 2 years strong. Both are 60Hz LCD backlit, 1080P.

This ips monitor is on sale at ncix for 160. LG IPS224V-PN 21.5IN Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Monitor IPS 1920X1080 5MS 5M:1 VGA DVI HDMI - LG Electronics - IPS224V-PN Not sure how the quality is as I don't have any experience with it. However my ips monitor looks significantly better than my old tn panel one. I would suggest that your friend go look at monitors before purchasing one. That way he can pick which one he likes best.

Acer S240HL Bmii 24IN Widescreen LCD Monitor 1920X1080 LED Backlit 10000000:1 5MS VGA DVI HDMI - Acer - ET.FS0HP.A01

Just on price alone, the fact that this ships with all of the appropriate cables and that it's currently got a $5 ground shipping deal makes it worth looking at.
