Default triple monitor stands

hello canuckers,

I'm thinking of getting a triple monitor stand because 3 lcds on my table take up too much space...I was wondering if any of you have purchased one of these and if you have any opinions on the following stands:

The Spacedec SD-FS-T by Atdec

or

Planar 997-6035-00 Triple Monitor Stand

sincerely

I been looking at a Tyke Supply monitor stand. Some have used a Monoprice one. The review link is for a dual monitor stand from Tyke but decent read regarding what to expect.

The XFX is the same as the Planar, but looks nicer and is about $70 more if you pricematch @bestdirect. The Planar is the cheapest triple one I found when I was looking into them.

Quick question, has anyone tried wall mounting one of these triple monitor set-ups?

Thats allot of weight for a single wall mount.

I did 3 wall mounted 27" monitors on swing-arms that worked quite well.. but you just need to be sensible with fixing them to something solid enough to take the weight.

I have a solid wall to tap into. just don't want to eat up space on my desk with a big mount like whats on the XFX and Planar models. I like the look and price of the Planar one, looks to be what I would go after.

Personally, if you can go wall mounted, it's a good way to save cash and should allow up to 27" screens.. However, moving your desk is a pain.. :D
I'm guessing but a swing arm wall mount should cost about 70 bucks (was 65 yoyo's here but we get ripped off for everything)

Be very accurate with the height and spacing of the mounts and you should be pretty good (to within a mm or so) for matching the heights..
You can also slightly adjust the height using washers or adjusting the tightness of the swing arm if your a lil off..
Managed to match the 3 monitors to within about .25 of a mm fairly easily..

did it on a stud wall, just have to find the solid bits to screw into.. (4 x 3" screws easily held a 27" screen)
