With a 120hz monitor and fps above 60, would I be able to read text better while moving/rotating in an fps game? Like text on a wall or something, I mean.

The ones on ebay are the same monitors basically, but will most likely not be able to do 120hz. The monitors that you order from 120hz.NET - Latest News will be guaranteed 120hz, but you pay about a 100-150 premium for it compared to the 60hz ebay monitors. Still very worth it when you put it up against similar monitors. When I mean similar monitors, I mean 2560x1440, 24" IPS. Big name monitors of this type won't do 120hz, yet they are over double the price of these.

Not an expert on 120hz monitors but I think it would make a difference in your situation. In FPS, your game will look waaaay smoother, that's a given. So I would assume that your text on the walls would be easier to read while you're moving.

I have the HP ZR24w and BenQ's XL2420T. Viewing both monitors side-by-side, anyone can tell in about 2 microseconds the colour accuracy on the HP is much better. On the BenQ, the mouse scrolls much more smoothly across the screen :)
I just read the original post and skipped the end with a quick reply. I haven't posted much here, but I hope that helps a bit.
