My System Specs

Default Recommend me a quality-panel 24 inch LCD!

I'm looking to purchase a 24 inch LCD one of these days. However I've noticed the price on these things ranges anywhere from $375 to $650.

Naturally, I know some LCDs have advanced inputs while others don't (such as HDMI, component).

I'm looking for DVI input and height adjustment. I would prefer a Samsung, LG or Dell monitor.

I will primarily be gaming and surfing. DVD watching will be very low, but I might watch some lower quality videos here and there.

There are different kinds of panels, etc. So I'm hoping you guys can recommend something good. I'm OK to spend $400-500 before tax. I'd prefer not to enter $600 territory unless there's a good reason.

What do you suggest?

Dell 2408WFP which sometimes goes on sale for around $550-$600 in the Dell Days of Deals.

I decided to buy a samsung after seeing how nice the picture is on their Plasma TV's

What type of games do you play on it? I was wondering what Day of Defeat would look like with this monitor. Had problems with ghosting awhile back with a samsung. Mind you the refresh rate was no way near the 5 ms on this one.

Samsung Syncmaster 245B has done the job for me so far. Apparently there are better ones out there, but I'm happy with this one for sure.

I use the 226BW and play DOD Source, COD4, TF2, Dirt and have no problems apart from getting my a.. killed cause I suck. Sweet, clear, brilliant screen and resolution.
