how many monitors do you use? out of curiosity how many people here actually use more than 1 monitor and what do you them for? myself I currently use 3 of varying size and quality. 1 17inch, 1 20inch (this is the beautiful ips one) and 1 22 inch for my main. Depending on what I'm doing I can have multiple webpages, multiple documents, music, video, voice, chat in the background while I'm gaming. Really I just love the versatility having 3 gives me. and now. Now its your turn |
i have 5 hooked to my workstation. I have 3 23inch acer's one 42inch big screen and 1 15inch for all my gpu/cpuz/realtemp/evga precision/antec chilltech and all my other monitoring software which i also have the radio and folding stuff up there if i am folding which i haven't been in awhile but soon all soon lol and that's just my workstation in my bedroom got several more pcs in the house in all total there's 12 screens in the house just nee the bathroom soon ahahahahahaah |
I have 3 27" 2560x1440 displays. However 90% of the time I only use a single display. |
I have 3 benQ 2420Ts 120hz on an xfx 3 way stand:] |
My home pc has 1 x 23"ips, work has 2 x 22" Ideally I'd like 3. 2 x 24" 1920x1200, 1 X 27" 2560x1440 ips/pls and a TV, (36" would be plenty) |
One. |
Main PC has 1 24", testbed has 2 19" (square) with the 2cond to allow for full access away from the case. |
1 at home (for gaming) and 4 at work (for multi-tasking) |
I use 3 monitors at work, 2 23" and 1 25" Monitor. At home when gaming I only use my 27" Monitor, however have a side 21.5" that I use to web browsing, IM people while gaming. I only ever turn on my third monitor when I'm doing school work as it's a lot easier to write up lab reports when I have all my data open to me at the same time, rather then switching between say excel, word, lab manual and matlab. |
When I'm home, I use a 16:10 24'' IPS along with a 16:9 23'' PVA monitor. I use them for multitasking, either to play games on the main and watch something else on the side, to watch a video on the side while reading something on the main. Its something I recently discovered and I really enjoy it. |
