LOL Alpine, that sucks.
which pannel did you get again? Maybe take off the stand and rig it up against something with VHS tapes? its what i did before i had it mounted lol. I knew saving those old pos tapes would come in handy some day.

this one:

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/330723707326?...84.m1497.l2649

The monitor it is .25 of inches to high to fit in. I have solve the problem by removing a part of it.
I really need to buy a mount wall, then i will be able to use my computer desk completly.

or you can look at getting a decent desk mount.
These only weigh about 15-20lbs, so you might be able to find a decent mount for around $60-100bucks.

How would a GTX 480 hold up with one of these? I play at 2048x1152 now (yes, 16:9, I know, weird haha) and everything runs great at high settings. Wondering if I'll need to buy a 670 for this... heh.

It would basically perform the same as my 570.
Its okay... but gets the crap kicked out of it in some games. So far BF3 plays decently, but that's all I have tested so far. I'd upgrade personally. i'm working on an upgrade as well.

But how does 6ms refresh time compare to 2ms in games?

But for the eye candy of 2560x1440, I think I'll definitely start saving and get one for christmas

Oh and I hear taLK OF THEM Having tempered glass, does anyone know of ones with matte finish like most normal LCDs?
