My opinion is get the cheapest 24" you can..

Anything which is based on tn panel tech (and at 1920x1080) isn't worth getting a larger format of screen..

now, if that was 1920 x 1200 or higher then I would say to get the 27".

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I received my Asus VE258Q monitor. It's awesome, it's huge, it's bright, the colors are simply amazing and I am still not used to the size of it. Gaming is taken to a whole new level with 1080p. Movies are great too, especially with the theater mode turned on. I am loving every bit of it. Good thing that I didn't get the 27" version because that would have been way too big. So thank you for you feedback!
