Dell U2410
 

I was thinking of upgrading my Samsung Syncmaster 245BW to a Dell U2410. I was wondering if anyone had experiences with them or can offer a better alternative?

I love mine, great colour, no ghosting, lots of inputs, rotating display and a built in card reader. Wait till they go on sale and then they are worth it.

There is NO better alternative if budget isn't an issue.

There is always a better alternative if budget isn't an issue but the Dell U2410 is not a bad screen at all IMHO, and a very good upgrade to the Samsung 245BW.

I would say it will be a big upgrade visually. No more dark top and bright bottom.

I also love mine. No ghosting, great color, just great overall.

Thanks for the feedback, what about the Dell U2412M? Its on sale right now for $299 and appears very similar to the U2410.

If gaming is your priority the U2412M has a very slight edge on the U2410, but if you need the extra connections and card reader the U2410 is probably better.

Both are great and fairly similar. The U2412M will need some tweaking but that's generally easy by reducing the blue in custom color down to about 90 or so (from 100 default).

I love my U2410. Would get an extra one if wife wasn't on my case re: budget... :haha:
