Trying to decide between asus vw246h and vh238h for gaming

I currently have a 1440 x 900 viewsonic 19", but want to upgrade to a larger monitor. My graphics card is an xfx radeon 6870. One of the monitors is 23" and LCD (lower price as well) and the other is 24" but a regular LCD, i dont know which one would be better for me for gaming and other regular uses. The monitors also both have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution. I am also hoping that even though i can play ultra on this monitor, that a newer hd monitor will look better even when playing on high.

The 2 monitors in question are:
24" LCD

23" LED

ALSO, other monitor suggestions in the same price range are accepted, dont really want to go over 200 but would be willing to look at other brands and even other sizes, although the lowest size i would go is a 21"

I would go with the LED 23in Monitor, has a lot more going for it.

The 24" is on sale from newegg.com today for 159.99 should i jump on that?

i actually own the Asus ML239 and love it to bits. Plus right now there is a mail in rebate.

Newegg.com - ASUS ML239H Black 23" 5ms IPS Panel Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 ASCR 50,000,000:1 (3,000:1)

pretty decent price for an IPS panel.
