Default Samsung S24A300B vs. Asus VE248H LED

Hi guys,

I really want to replace my current HP w2207 lcd with a LED lcd. I don't really have any major gripes with the HP except for minor ghosting while gaming, but the monitor is showing its age.

Two potential options right now are the Samsung S24A300B and the Asus VE248H, and I'd appreciate any comments & thoughts on my choices, as well as other suggestions in the $300 CAD price range.

Features I'm looking for obviously are 1080p + DVI/HDMI + 2ms response, and above average color reproduction out of the box.

Thanks, guys!

I'm an Asus fanboy to the core, but It has been my experience that Samsung makes better quality displays.

Guess I'll look into the Samsung a bit more. Still wondering if the iq quality will be noticeably improved...
