on the options for the monitor, i am unable to make it 75 hz on screen resolution advanced properties. I tried ati drivers but it forced me to go to a lower resolution like 1280x800 like that if i want 75hz. I just reformatted and it just doesn't look right (in my games, counter strike to be specific) if any help to unlock the 75hz i would appreciate :D

People say you'll need to create custom resolutions.

For me in nvidia settings it's

change resolution, customize, create custom resolution, 1680x1050, 75hz, 32bit, progressive scan, and timing is CVT reduced blank.

And that'll give you 75hz :thumb:
