Default Screen comparison for gaming RIG

I have This right now but I am looking at This / This / This

Is the Element going to be sufficient for gaming with it's 8ms delay or should I go for the 1ms/2ms screens?
Which would you pick if you had my gear?

No no, you want to spend over double and get this one Samsung SyncMaster S27A950D 27in Widescreen 3D LED LCD w/ 3D Glasses at Memory Express Computers - apparently, true 120Hz AND unable to distinguish colours from an IPS (according to user reviews I read elsewhere), not to mention the 2ms response time. You're welcome :D

Sorry Mac but you'd have to sell me REALLY hard on any Dell product... not a fan. Even if it wasn't a full grand lol...

OP Edited.

Honestly, dell makes the best monitors around. The other stuff on the otherhand... If you had a choice between one monitor and a dell, i would go for a dell, more so if it's an ultrasharp (IPS)

Don't discount the Samsung just because it has 3D capability. Supposedly an outstanding monitor, tho I know pretty spendy.

The other one I hear great things about is the HP 24" IPS, which is a bit cheaper than its Dell counterpart.

I'm not disregarding it simply because it's 3D, I'm doing so because I'm not going to spend an entire paycheck on my monitor (it's a new job so I don't have any cash safety net yet).

My issue with Dell has been with their comps and printers so I suppose their monitors could still be good... like I said I'm not totally against Dell it would just take a lot to make me change my mind. So does no one particularly like the 3 I linked?

P.S. I want 26"-28" for my monitor size.

I would never recommend 1920x1080 for a 27in monitor you are going to sit close to, pixel density is quite low, better off with a 24 1920x1080 IMHO but if you really want the 27" and don't mind the pixel density, or you are going to be sitting further from your monitor do what you'd like.

I want the best picture quality I can get for under $350, I'll be sitting roughly 2 and 1/2 feet from the monitor which I thought was the optimal viewing range for 26"-28". I would definitely prefer 1920x1080 though so your suggestions are ~24"? I also want low ms response time and LED backlit.

Edit: 3D ready, 120hz, 1920x1080, 2ms response, LED backlit, and a 3 year warranty. Good price for a good monitor?
Acer HS244HQ bmii 24 Class Widescreen 3D LED Monitor - 1920 x 1080, 16:9, 12000000:1 Dynamic, 1000:1 Native, 120Hz, 2ms, HDMI, VGA, Acer 3D Glasses, Energy Star at TigerDirect.com

Dell displays like the U2711 are awesome. The U2711 has a 2560x1440 IPS panel and an asston of ports. The stand allows for plenty of adjustment and is easily and cleanly removed if you want to stick the display on some other mount. You may scoff at dell's other products, but do not scoff at their displays.
Also, you can get it for starting at around $700 during some sales as I recall. Totally worth it.

Look up some reviews of it and save up over a couple more paydays.
