My System Specs

Default Crooked plasma panel on my new HDTV.

I just bought a Panasonic TCP46S30 plasma HDTV. Movies and games look great when at the proper distance. However, what I'm wondering is if I am eligible to exchange this TV for a new one.

It slants slighty to the right. When I'm watching something on my TV I have about a 1/4" gap at the top left in between the bezel and the panel. There is about a 1/8" gap at the bottom left. I think you can catch my drift here.

Thanks,
Eric

I would take and print some pictures out as well to take with you in case they try to argue or don't want to plug it in.

Sounds like a QA slip-up for sure though.

Thanks guys. Talked to a manager over the phone. Will exchange no problem.

Can any of you recommend an HDTV in the $800-900 range? I like this Panasonic plasma, but if I can get more for my money, just let me know.

Cheers.

IMO you have the best bang for your buck as is (after you exchange).

This years panny model the St30 starts around $1200 for a 50". Maybe adjust your budget and get the current model?

I'm thinking about upgrading to the ST30. Taking it in tonight to see what else is available.

In the budget range, the Samsung D550 51 inch 1080P 3d plasma is usually $899.99... weaker blacks than panasonic, but better colours, and the 5 inch increase is huge, yes that's what she said.

The LG PZ550 inch is also in that range, but the black levels are LCD like on this model so not a good buy imo.

The 50 inch Panasonic S30 is on sale this week at Leon's for $899 as well!
