Default TV screen or PC screen?

i'm going to buy a new screen for my pc. I want to play games on it and watch tv, now is my question: can i better pick a TV screen or a PC monitor (what are exactly the diffrences?)

I would say a monitor.. with an LCD/plasma TV there is quite a bit more lag, and i've experienced ghosting while playing PC games on a TV.

Screen. Definitely. There is much less lag on a screen vs a TV, plus the bezel is thinner (usually)
