Exclamation Dark bruises on my LP2475w, HP won't fix, any suggestions?

So appearantly I " pushed the front plastic protective cover too close" and it's "probably warped inward"

That pic in the thread isn't good btw, since there was only 1 mark and it was very faded. It has gotten worse since. I notice if I make my monitor look up (the stand lets me swivel and stuff) and leave it over night it sorta gets better, but then goes back after usage. I've been doing this for a month. I got it from bring it to a LAN party and bring back, I guess I held it wrong

Yes it is really bothersome.

Monitors are typically considered consumables.

The pic never really captured it in the first place, and it has gotten worse.

Call HP directly and ask for an RMA.

Yeah I should do that first, might as well exhaust all resources, it did say 3 year warranty and I've owned it for 2.

If it's under warranty RMA and send it in ... and don't let them feed you bullshit. Especially for a IPS Panel.

Yeah the HP guy figured it out and said a replacement is coming wedsnday, he knows I've had it for 2 years and he never asked for proof of purchase, just the fact that the model is that model is enough for warranty
