Default new monitor sugestion

Hey everyone just bought a msi570GTX upgraded from an 8800gt but forgot my monitor was still only 1680 x 1040 Samsung sync-master 22in so i guess its time for an upgrade. Im not sure if i want to upgrade to a 24in or just stay at 22in. anyone have any input into any suggestions to go with my 570GTX and on the 22in vs 24in front. For prices im thinking around $200 give or take.

Thanks for the help

What's your system specs? And what's your current monitor? If you're making such a huge jump you might wanna build a new rig first.

Depends on you really do you need/want bigger than 24? about the next stepup would be a 27 but that drives the price up to: NCIX.com - Buy ASUS VE278Q 27IN Widescreen LCD Monitor 1920X1080 LED Backlit 10M:1DC 2MS DisplayPort DVI-D VGA HDMI - ASUS - VE278Q - in Canada

For the price though that Asus 24 is a pretty sweet monitor IMO.

If you need IPS, check this out: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...-200-ncix.html

I chose a BenQ E2420HD over the ASUS VE247H. It was a bit more expensive but it seems to be a lot better than the ASUS which is always on sale. I haven't opened it yet though. Probably will later this week.

Im kinda confused on what to get in terms of ISP, TN panels LCD vs LED are ISP panels getting better for gaming seen a few people talking about bad ghosting and tearing. anyone got a site where it covers the benefits of each?
