Default What monitors to get?

Hello HWC's

I am looking to get 3 new monitors for my eyefinity setup. I currently have 3 monitors but only 2 match and they are 1440x900 and one is 1680x1050.

Here is what i am looking for:
  • I would like to keep them around 150 each
  • I would like them to be 1920x1080
  • I would prefer a matte'd finish but can go with out.
I know this is a long stretch for 150 each but i am hoping it is possible.

Thanks
SKW

I have seen a lot of 1920x1080 on sale for $150 before tax. It is definitely no stretch.

E.G ASUS VE247H Sold out for now.

I would recommend 3x U2311H, they usually go on sale for $220 a piece.

3 24" monitors can take up quite a lot of desk space. Unless you have a large desk or want to essentially only have your monitors on it 24" monitors aren't really practical. I have found that 21.5 or 22" monitors seem to hit the sweet spot of they are big enough to see whats going on, but don't take up an excessive amount of space versus the 24"

You can get 3 here, 115$ each before taxes and free shipping (essentially the same model and place I bought mine from last fall)
Buy Acer [ET.WS0HP.001] Acer S220HQLB 21.5IN Widescreen LCD LED Backlit 1920X1080 5ms 100M:1 VGA Black Monitor

Yeah it depends on your desk and how far back you sit. Currently I sit about 2.5-3 feet back from mine and it seems pretty good. I almost went with 22s, but really glad I went for these 24s as having all the adjustments, amazing response time and great colour seemed worth it. TBH if the OP already has 21-22" screens, stick with that. Going down in size is much harder than staying the same or going up.

How is the BenQ E2420HD compared to the ASUS VE247H? I see the ASUS on sale a lot and generally has excellent reviews. The BenQ though is priced higher and uses LCD backlit instead of LED backlit. The few reviews for it are pretty good as well so I don't know which monitor to keep and which to return.
