There is enough people with issues with them if you know where to look.
If you got a good one well good for you ..mine worked great for a few days then into the pooper.
Unfortunately for Dell they kept telling me there was nothing wrong with it on the phone(duh okay watever you say) and passsing me from person to person so then I just sent it back.
If 'puter/vid card works good on 5 other monitors in the house with even changing/swapping the dvi-d cable to be sure and still vertical purplish tones then ...its a defective monitor.
I spent over an hour and a half on the phone thats enough for me.
This type of behaviour is not uncommon at Dell either.
Additionally you will not get another new monitor either(unless no recerts in) you get somebody elses returned one "recertified"
I know of several people who have returned them and received recertified ones in their place....not brand new.
Even if you buy a new unopenned u2311h off a previous owner who bought it you have to transfer the Dell warranty properly or there is no warranty.
