Default Monitor buying help?

What do you guys think of the brand BenQ?

Any suggestions on the best monitor I can pick up from memory express in the 20-23" range?

Asus VE228H 21.5in Widescreen LED LCD w/ HDMI, Speakers at Memory Express Computers
BenQ V2210 21.5in Widescreen LED LCD w/ HDMI at Memory Express Computers

<--- These two caught my eye as LED backlit monitors with 5ms response time. Will be using the monitor for gaming and looking at a max budget of $180.

no, I'm buying new so I can get the memory express IRP. Also, not looking to use a TV as a computer monitor.

If you want qaulity pictures and don't mind the extra cost.. Go with. DELL Dell - UltraSharp U2311H 23-inch Widescreen Flat Panel Display : Monitors: Flat Screen LCD Computer Displays | Dell Canada which is on sale right now.

Nope, I don't really care about IPS that much. I don't need that high level of image reproduction. This is for gaming after all. As stated above, I've chosen to restrict myself to something I can buy (or special order) from memory express.

I have never heard anything bad about BenQ however I haven't heard much about them at all. As long as mem ex has a good return policy I'd go for it. Usually with bad products it is very apparent that they are bad in the first couple weeks (atleast when it comes to T.V's and monitors) so it's worth a shot.

If these are for gaming then stay away from 1080 monitors.. You want a monitor that is 16:10 not 16:9

Highly recommend this one NCIX.com - Buy BenQ V2410 24IN LED LCD Monitor 1920X1080 5000000:1 Black HDMI - BenQ - V2410 - in Canada

24 inch, led. I have two of em and they are about as good as you can get for the price. Free shipping as well.

Just checked and mem express actually has it on sale for $180

Yeah, 16:10 is becoming very rare these days, I would have loved to have gone that resolution, but it would have either meant 1680x1050 or spending a lot more money. I refuse to buy larger than 23" for a single monitor. No point arguing why I refuse, but I've tested out 24" and 27" and I don't want them.

I ended up buying the ASUS one and trying it out (I could return it in 7 days at no cost if I wanted) and really really liked it. I'm gonna get 2 more of the ASUS LED 21.5" when they get more stock and I get my 2nd GPU back.
