^^^ Center ice 15 rows behind the players bench...friggin pricey is right....here's the breakdown and a comparison:
Canucks Rogers Center vs Blackhawks
1. Tickets 2 x $330 = $700 with taxes n fees
2. Hotel = $150 / nt
3. Ferry to / from the Island = $130

Total = Approx. $1K

Seahawks at Cardinals 14th Nov

1. Airfare for me n my wife roundtrip Victoria, BC to Phoenix Az = $680 (thats both of us)
2. 2 x Tickets center field 25 rows up from Visitors sideline = $300
3. 3 x nights Hotel in Phoenix (with pool) = $270

Total = $1250

So, for an extra $250....we get 3 nts in Phoenix, sit in an outdoor stadium (in the sunshine) and watch a great NFC Divisional match-up!!!

Crazy eh ?!

Sorry for going so off topic !!

Damn, those are some sweet seats. It sure does suck at how much it costs to go to hockey games here in the west.

So back on topic, any word on what warranty you get if you go through NCIX/BD?

^^^ Ni idea on the Warranty...other than the 1 yr NCIX / BD (I haven't even confirmed that)....but honestly, I tend to play Russion Roulette with Waranties....I've got 4 flatscreen TV's with no additional Warranties and never had a problem with any of them including my PC Monitors (knocks on a strip of wood) ;)

NCIX.com - Buy Dell Ultrasharp U2711 27IN Widescreen LCD Monitor IPs 2560X1440 6MS 80000:1 DVI-D HDMI DisplayPort - U2711 In Canada.
Quote:
NCIX provides a 30 day limited warranty on this product. The remainder of the 1 year warranty is provided by the manufacturer.
And since we all know Best Direct is basically the same company, I'd assume it's the same warranty.

It explains why it's $850 at Compu2000 as they have the 3yr warranty and are a Dell partner.

However Dell doesn't offer 1yr warranty at all on UltraSharp's so I find it odd why NCIX wouldn't have the proper 3yr. Could just be a typo I guess?

DELL UltraSharp U2711 69cm (27

$799 at Dell now until Nov 11. 3yr warranty this way...and if you're on the email newsletter, extra 5% off which makes it $2 more than BestDirect, and you get a proper warranty and support from Dell.

I think I might just have to click the Order button tonight...

I don't quite understand.....purchasing a Dell Monitor from Dell only, you get the 3 yr warranty, yet ordering the same product from another distributor you get no warranty? (Only a 1 yr...)...I don't get it or understand this. If I buy any other product from any other Distributor, the Product is covered regardless of where I purchase it....as in covered by OCZ, Corsair, Evga, XFX etc etc etc.......can someone please confirm purchasing a Dell monitor from say BD or NCIX is not covered by Dell Canada....

Where is the Dell Warehouse? Purchasing from BD (Vancouver) is pretty much guaranteed overnight delivery...Dell states "1 - 2 weeks"...huh...the Warranty thing has me thoroughly confused

EDIT: Nevermind the verbal diahrea above....

It's just speculation. I don't know for sure what NCIX/BD is offering for warranty, but the website only says 1yr. Choice is yours, but when there's no real difference in price, I'd rather buy direct. More likely to get "new" stock as well where as NCIX/BD might have old stock.

As such, I'll sleep on it, but I think I'll be ordering off Dell tomorrow.

I just signed up at Dell, did go with the email newsletter notification but did not see the 5% off reflected in my price....went though the purchase process...up until entering my Credit Card info but no 5% off.....am I missing something...$905 with taxes.
