My System Specs

Default Dell Professional P2210

So I'm looking for a 3rd monitor for Eyefinity on my 5850...this is one of the few that seems to have native DP.

DELL Dell Professional P2210 22-inch Widescreen Flat Panel : Monitors & Monitor Accessories | Dell

What do you guys think? Yea or Nay? It's in the right price range too i figure since it can be had for ~200.

Your input is appreciated.

I also read somewhere that the more monitors you have connected to your GPU, the higher the idle mHz goes?

I know mine idles around 400 mHz and cranks up to 775 when I game...any truth to this? I suppose I could unplug a monitor but lol i'm lazy!

The clock speed issue when multiple monitors connected is something I believe only happens with nVidia cards.

so my 5850 idling at 400mhz is normal? i think i've read people were running theirs at 157 mhz? is that via afterburner then?

It could be that adding a second monitor causes it to run at 400MHz. I run my second monitor off another GPU so I don't know about that. My 5870 idles at 157MHz so I would assume that's the normal speed with a single display.
