Default Monitor arm question

Hello,

My friend is interested in getting this Kensington 60904 extended arm for a monitor, but I find it lacks lots of information. I have tried googling a bit, but no matter what site I got to(including Kensington's), I could not find information such as, what is the maximum size and weight it can support. How high or low it can move, how far it can extend. So, I am asking here if anyone has experience(or knowledge) with such an arm and if they can give me a little information about it.

While I've never used/purchased one of these, I've seen them in the Lee Valley Hardware catalog and they provide a lot of information. They also carry some computer related hardware parts, CPU holder, CD hardware, cable management hardware, etc.

desk mounted, single articulated:
15" to 25" Articulated-Arm Desk Mount - Lee Valley Tools

group listing, wall and desk mounted:
About Our TV / Monitor Hardware - Lee Valley Tools

Lee Valley Tools (Ottawa) has always provided great service and delivery.
They have stores in major cities: Lee Valley Tools - Store Locations

The weight would be pretty hign seeing as there are only hinges and not spring loaded joints. You want to look at Ergotron arms too:

Ergotron: LCD Mount, Monitor Arm, Healthcare Computer Cart, TV Wall Mount, Laptop Stand and Medical Cart Solutions

My friend likes this Ergotron Neo-Flex, but I am wondering if it would fit screens of 27in(or even 30in) provided it doesn't exceed the max weight ?
Right now her plans aren't to go for something bigger than 24in, but you never know what can happen in the future, so I figure it would good to think ahead.

size doesn't matter as much as weight of the panel, bigger screens might jitter more but if its in the weight range it should be fine
