Gaming monitor [HELP!!]

Hey guys,

I am currently building a new gaming rig, and I am in need of a monitor. I've been doing some reading these couple of days, and I know what speccs I want/looking for. Any help would be much appreciated.

Speccs I'm looking for:-

* 1920x1200 RES

* 24'' or larger

* 5ms or better

* ~ $300-$400. I could go up to $500 if it is justifiable.

[I will be using this mointor mainly for hardcore gaming]

- I had the Asus VW266H in mind, but according to reviews, it is medicore at best.

- The Samsung 2443W seems pretty good, but I can't seem to find anyone that has any in stock.

Thanks in advance,

I'd recommend the XL2370. It's only a 23", but the reviews for are very positive. It's an LED monitor, and I've watched side by side test reviews with the normal P2370 (non LED) and everyone who has it raves about the picture quality. I wish it was available when I was buying a monitor.

If your hardcore gaming habits include lots of FPS, I'd suggest the 120Hz Acer monitor. It's a TN panel, but once you've experienced 120Hz in FPS games, 60Hz feels so inadequate.
