Need a new gaming monitor

I'm looking for a 23" or 24" monitor to replace a crummy HP 19". Monitors aren't my strong suit, by any means, so I really have no idea. Mostly for gaming, but my school has Dell UltraSharp monitors and they to look really nice...

Anyway, budget is $300 if it's a TN panel, I may be willing to pay more for an IPS or something. Adjustable is nice, VESA mount is a huge plus.

lol, i grabbed a dynex 37" 1080p hdtv from bestbuy yesterday, its 399, 475 after eco+tax, pretty friggen nice so far i must say, we found out it is the new 2010 model and is using an MVA samsung/sony panel.. check it out at redflagdeals

Looks like you got a pretty good monitor. Can you imagine what 3 of those would do for you? Overkill? You bet, but you only live once. Problem with that setup would be something to put them on. Enjoy the new monitor.

Dell Ultra Sharp for absolute best. Dell also backs them up like no other company. Should you have a problem,Dell,in most cases,upgrade. I have direct experience in that respect i.e. I had a problem with my 27 inch and they replaced it with a 30 inch Ultra Sharp. If you have even one pixel missing,they replace the monitor.

I'm thinking about the UltraSharp 2209WA, it's on sale for $100 off atm. I was looking at the U2410, but it's hella expensive even on sale.

i am using a total of 6 Dell monitor's, 22 to 24 inch, at home and work, and i must say i love them so far

and the fact that i got 3 24inch 1080p for 250$ each was a steal back then (last year). never had a single problem with my screen's

dell often as them for like 230-300$. right now theres a 24 inch for sell at 229$ DellTM ST2410 24” Full HD Widescreen Monitor

i am using a slightly older version of this one atm and i like them.
