My System Specs

Default Recommend me a good 24" or bigger display

Hey Guys, looking for a new display to replace my aging 22inch Samsung. I am looking for a 24" or larger display that is decent quality without being outrage in price. I like PVA/MVA/IPS-X panels (I have a 19" widescreen Samsung PVA in portrait mode as my second monitor) and would prefer one if the price is right.

Primary use is gaming/web and movies. Any recommendations?

Samsung, Asus, NEC, anything decent really. $350 - $500 I guess. Maybe more if the panel is worth it (like a $1000 panel on sale for $600), etc....

that one is tops on my list but right now it is $700 in Canada. The 27incher can be found for $8xx if you shop around.

Dell all the way.Trust me! They have the best qualiy and back them up accordingly.I know. I had a monitor issue and Dell replaced without a lot of checking this and checking that crap most people go through.Honest!

Samsung all the way. Get a second of what you already have.

As for Dell....I would not trust them as far as I can throw them.

I would have jumped on that Dell deal had I known about it (and if I had my tax return then!). My current PVA (Oops, not IPS as I stated above) panel is only 19" widescreen (sitting in portrait mode) so a second one is not an option (and I don't think it is for sale either anymore).

NCIX.com - Buy Samsung SyncMaster 971P 19IN Black LCD Monitor Pva 1280X1024 1500:1 6MS DVI Triple Hinge Stand - LS19MBXXFV/XAA In Canada.
