Best gaming monitor

...for 300-400$?

1920x1080

What is it? :ph34r:

My 2232BW is getting old (I'll give it to my parents since their monitor is dying pretty much) and I'm planning to upgrade my GPU's for a GTX480 in the coming weeks/months.

Holy thread ressurection batman! (ok the thread isn't so old... :P, just forgot to look back at it)

The screen looks good, but I've been eyeing these two to replace my dual-screen setup;

or

Anyone having experience with them?

I've got a couple of the T240's here in the office. (Not the HD model with TV tuner, but same panel/bezel). I think they are the nicest looking monitors I've ever seen. Can't speak to gaming performance on them, but very nice for viewing autocad drawings.

i have the 26.6" model of that asus and it kicks serious ass lol. 1920x1200 resolution crisp clean picture.

Personally, I would never buy a monitor without tilt, height adjustability and pivot capabilities.

Ya the VW266H (if that's the one you're talking about) looks very nice!

The BenQ E2420 is a pretty good buy.

From what I know this comes with a NEC panel too. lots of usb ports on the thing and it's got the usual gaming specs 2ms, hdmi, blah blah blah blah etc etc...

I bought one XL2370. Expensive, but looks great. Maybe there are better things for the same money (or less), but believe, you're not going to regret it.

Acer has a new 24" 120Hz 1080p monitor coming out that has $399 MSRP. Pretty damn sweet considering a samsung 2233rz is ~$350 and that one only does 1680x1050. Asus has one coming out too, I'm not sure about the price though.
