My System Specs

Default Samsung SyncMaster 2343 - 23 inch

Got this LCD for 225 after tax from NCIX. What made me get this LCD was that fact that it has 2048x1152 as native resolution. This fits me because I'm the type of guy that likes the odd things I hate the standards:D

My Impressions are: WOW, I will test gaming on it to see if the lag and ghosting will cause a big effect after switching from a CRT 21"

Nice, glad to see you're liking because I ordered one too, and am expecting delivery next week. Got it for 210$ (w/ free shipping & express coverage).

Can't wait to get it and hook it up!

Please post your gaming impressions, if you have a chance

This is the monitor I'm now running. I got it for $179 I'd like to calibrate the color, but can't afford a calibration tool as of yet....

Got it an hour ago after waiting 2 1/2 hours in front of Canada Computers. Well worth the wait, and the setup was as easy as sliding in the base and plugging it in. My video card auto set it to 2048x1152 and now I'm working on turning down the brightness before my eyes blow up.

I just bought this during the NCIX boxing day sale. Anyway, I have a question to those who already have this. Although it's an odd resolution, most games have a support for that resolution right?

Kinda out of the monitor loop seeing as I use two 15" monitors (bought one of them loooong time ago for around $800 lulz). Oh and dual monitors with the 23" and another 15" will work?

I like that monitor but was debating getting it or the P2270. The debate is whether the scren resolution is more important over contrast ration and response time. The P2270 is listed at $189.99 so not too far off in price from the 2343.

If the two monitors were the same price would you still get the 2343 or go for the P2270?
