I don't like the idea of looking at the black borders of a LCD screen when a picture is split between more than one monitor. If you were doing work, then it might be useful to have a dual monitor setup or Eyefinity. However for everything else I say stick with one monitor.

Maybe if I tried Eyefinity I'd like it, but for now, again single screen has my vote.

I've been (was) using a Triplehead2Go and 3x 22'' monitors for about a year and a half and it didn't bother me at all for gaming or anything else. so long as bezels are evenly matched and not huge/glossy then it's fine by me.

Plus... the Dell 27'' Ultrasharp is on sale today via Dell's "Days of Deals"

Single large. You know well my feelings about Eyefinity and they were cemented when I borrowed an additional 30" display two weeks ago. The novelty wears off VERY fast.

That's Sky for you, can't change his mind if you beat him with stick.

Not sure about that 27'' Dell though... To be frank, I don't see why I should pay 2x what a 24'' panels costs for the same resolution... Decisions decisions.

30" is where it's at.

Until LCD manufacturers come out with bezel-free LCDs, you can forget about me ever thinking Eyefinity is anything other than a novelty. The main issue is performance. I would rather have high IQ settings on a 30" monitor than having to move every detail setting to mid-level settings and turn off AA.

You also have to remember Sky: With 3 widescreen monitors side-by-side you have a larger viewing angle, so it maybe worth "turning down" a couple settings because of the larger number of pixels.

Thanks but no thanks. Been there, done that and like I said: it got old after about an hour. I put my time and money where my mouth is and came away disappointed with the overall experience.

To each his/her own. You only get one vote tho . For me, it did take a while to "grow" on me, but once I was used to it I loved it - definitely an advantage in gaming.

Just can't decide which to get... and my freakin tiny 17'' LCD is awful... lol
