My System Specs

Default Dell UltraSharp 2709W

Any thoughts on this monitor? Although it's totally unaffordable right now, once I start my co-op position in January, I'm sure I'll be able to afford it. Spec wise it looks great, sure it has a slightly higher pixel pitch, but I think I can live with that.

I was considering the UltraSharp U2410, but I'm not sure I really want those H-IPS panels. They don't sound overly appealing.

I had the 2708 and it was perfect. After a couple of years I had a problem with it not turning on unless you fiddled with it. I called Dell support and after a couple of attempts at finding a problem, they decided to send a replacement. To my benefit and surprise, they didn't have a 27 inch available so they sent a 3008. No joke.Dell came through and the 30 inch is amazing. As was the 27 inch. Can't go wrong with Dell monitors. It pays to buy good.
